Elín Hall Opens Laufey’s A Matter of Time Tour in Iceland – See The Pictures
Elín Hall opened for Laufey at Kórinn in Kópavogur on March 14 and 15, 2026, supporting the two-time GRAMMY-winning artist on the final stop of the European-leg of A Matter of Time Tour.

The community of Kópavogur spent the week leading up to the shows turning what is normally a sports arena into a full-scale concert venue with seating for 9,000. This is only the fourth time Kórinn has been used for a concert, following performances by Justin Timberlake, Justin Bieber and Andrea Bocelli.
Laufey attracted a cross-generational crowd, including her former music teachers, figures from Iceland’s cultural and political scene, as well as young girls dressed as the now globally recognised artist.
The week for Elín Hall started with a pop-up performance at Laufeyland — a merch space connected to the shows — followed by two 30-minute sets each night.
Elín Hall’s live setup was led by musical director Baldvin Hlynsson, joined by guitarist Halldór Gunnar Pálsson. Sound engineering was handled by Þóroddur Ingvarsson (Posi), the gown was created by Sigurey Reynisdóttir, and behind-the-scenes documentation by Helena Sif Gunnarsdóttir.
