This year marks GLITSKÝ Management’s first official Iceland Airwaves — a week celebrating creativity, collaboration, and new music from our growing roster.

Join us for intimate off-venue performances, festival showcases, and a few surprises along the way.

20:30 MAIAA (IS) – Iceland Airwaves, Bird

MAIAA, Iceland’s rising dark-pop sensation, takes the stage at Bird on November 7th at 20:30. Known for her bold lyricism and emotionally charged soundscapes, MAIAA first captured attention during the Eurovision national finals 2024 and later released her debut EP, Lovesick, produced by Baldvin Hlynsson, accompanied by a stunning music video.

For the first time, she’ll be performing with a live band, debuting new singles set to drop soon. Expect a night full of intense, cinematic pop, exclusive merch, and an unforgettable performance.

Critically acclaimed Icelandic artist Magnús Jóhann performs solo at Fríkirkjan, merging contemporary classical piano with jazz and electronics, he delivers ethereal, dynamic performances full of emotional depth and cinematic qualities.

Equally adept as a composer, producer and keyboardist, Magnús Jóhann’s presence was a marker of quality on hundreds of contemporary pop, r&b and hip-hop recordings in Iceland long before his eclectic interests exploded onto ambitious solo albums spanning introspective jazz, timeless popular songs, dissonant string scores and oddball electronics.
